I really don't see the point in a bunch of compulsive,
genetically-determined heterosexuals being mad at a bunch of
compulsive, genetically-determined homosexuals. Yes, Virginia,
human beings do have some built-in compulsions. Being brainwashed
by an ancient, data-starved, homophobic religion only makes
things worse. Above all, let's remember what Tom Jefferson said
many years ago: "Error of opinion may be tolerated where
reason is left free to combat it."
NOTE 1: I am a compulsive, genetically-determined heterosexual
who just happens to have a free and compassionate mind dedicated
to learning the truth about sexual orientation and everything
else. Homosexuals can be just as compassionate and just as
dedicated.
NOTE 2: The above quote and its constitutional energization
protect us three ways. We can't be unduly persecuted if we have a
wrong opinion; we can't be unduly persecuted if we have a right
opinion that is not yet popular and society will eventually come
to adopt the true correct opinions (if society is truly free).
Society now recognizes that TJ had an error of opinion on
slavery. The bigger they are, the harder they can goof.
