Physicians for Social Responsibility is the U.S.
afffiliate of International Physicians for the Prevention of
Nuclear War. PSR is also very active in promoting a sustainable
environment, violence prevention and other health-related
matters. They address the greatest threats to human welfare and
survival. They recognize that a policy that places prime emphasis
on armaments and weapons causes deterioration in our ability to
have an intelligent, healthy, decent and moral society capable of
saving the future. So PSR has been named FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK.
