Kathy Dahlkemper is the Democratic Congresswoman-elect for the third district of Pennsylvania, defeating seven term Republican Phil English. She is for a systematic withdrawal of USA troops from Iraq with a civil society there and broader multilateral relations with Iraq and with the other middle east nations. She is for medical insurance coverage for all Americans in a more efficient and less costly system covering all children first and then everyone else. The cost of drugs can be reduced by making the system more efficient and keyed toward prevention. Much money can be saved by healthier eating and more healthy exercise and by more efficient prevention. The government can save money by preventing waste in all fields of government activity by streamlining defense and other fields. We need to cut global warming with a variety of new forms of energy conservation and creation. We need to clue all persons young and old into how to conserve energy by using better and more efficient ways of generating and using energy including growing food closer to where it is consumed. With a full-blown energy efficient system nationwide we can all work better and feel better and be healthier. We need to create a better economy right here at home instead of using so many goods shipped so far from consumers. We need to give better care to our veterans by helping them do their jobs more safely and by giving them better medical care.
