Mike Ross is the Democratic Congressman for the 4th district of Arkansas. He is for better healthcare for Americans created by having no rationing of care for anyone and by having all conditions covered and by having choice of insurance providers and doctors. Pre-existing conditions would be covered and insurance costs would not be raised when you get sick. Every American citizen would have affordable care. Mike is a strong advocate for Arkansas' largest industry, Agriculture which accounts for 10% of its gross state product and covers about half the area of Arkansas; growing over 10 billion pounds of rice each year. He opposed the troop surge in Iraq and demanded more training of Iraqis to take control of their police and military force and demanded more accountability by The Iraqi government. He said the Bush Presidency in six years gave us the largest debt ever in our nation's history, the largest deficit year after year; he borrowed more money from foreigners in the past 6 years than the previous 42 presidents combined. The way to pay for programs is to cut wasteful spending. The USA has borrowed $38.2 billion from Mexico. Mike made numerous mentions of how often the Bush Administration lied about the Iraq war "reasons" for going to war in Iraq, a surge of lies to justify the unjustifiable.
