Neil Barofsky is a leading TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) watchdog over about $3 Trillion USA, crook-created crap money which taxpayers are expected now to be stuck with. Barofsky said that "It is extremely unlikely that the taxpayer will see a full return on it's Tarp investment" in stark contrast to Hank Paulson, Jr.'s rosy assessment in fall 2008. Barofsky and staff are responsible for the massive quarterly TARP reports which give a roadmap and report card for the real situation of the TARP which is quite dire because of the army of legalized crooks who stole money from gullible investors. Previously Barofsky was an assistant US district attorney in New York where he prosecuted 50 leaders of the Columbian military group FARC on narcotics charges and successfully argued one of the largest accounting fraud cases against commodities broker Refco, bringing disgraced CEO Phillip Bennett to tears in the courtroom. He also led the Mortgage Fraud investigation arm, Diving into the $55 trillion credit default swap industry and rooting out large scale securities fraud. Barofsky shoots for readability so that taxpayers and members of Congress and members of the media can all understand the work that he and his people are doing. For bringing numerous financial crooks to justice, Neil Barofsky has been named Futuresaver of the Week. Click the links below for more information.
